In 2006, God called me to move to Mexico for a 5 month 'get to know Me' time called a Discipleship Training School (DTS). These initial 5 months were an extreme look at who God really is and who God says that I really am. I knew God before coming to Mexico having given my heart to God when I was 2 years old. That is not what God wanted to teach me during the DTS. He wanted to show me who I am in Him. There are so many lies that we believe about ourselves that are not aligned with God's word. These are the things that God wanted to break and replace with His words of Love and Life.
Since joining YWAM full-time in February 2007 I have served in many different areas but currently I am the director (and occasionally teacher) for Little Builders Preschool and Early Education Center. I am working towards the goal of opening an International K-12 school on our San Antonio del Mar Campus just south of Tijuana as well as expanding our preschool. These schools will be bilingual and eventually open not only to our growing staff families but also the local community.
I am continuing to learn more and more about myself and different facets of the character of God. Join me as I walk out this calling.
