OneDrive for Mac is literally the worst piece of software on Max OS X. I have a new i7 mac book pro & one-drive randomly keeps downloading files in the most inefficient way. All fans switch on & Onedrive is so slow it takes about 5 seconds to open its menu. No other mac app in existence is this bad. The good news is that it allowed Mac OS X clients — specifically, Mac OS X 10.7 — to be run in a virtual machine. The bad news is that Apple restricted the number of versions of Lion you can run on each Mac: You cannot run more than two virtual machines containing Lion and Lion Server on one Mac.

Mac to PC
Transferring files created on a Mac to a DOS or Windows PC and vice versa. Prior to Apple's switch to Intel CPUs, certain file formats such as TIFF images required conversion, because PCs and PowerPC-based Macs used different binary architectures (see byte order). Virtual PC for Mac
Earlier software from Microsoft that enabled Windows applications to run on PowerPC-based Macs under Mac OS X up to, but not including, the G5 processor. It contained a complete version of Windows XP Home or Pro or Windows 2000 Professional that ran as a Mac application. It also allowed data to be copied back and forth between Windows and Mac, and the Mac could seamlessly connect into a Windows network and vice versa. Virtual PC was originally developed by Connectix Corporation, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2003. In 2006, Virtual PC for Mac was discontinued.
